EPI is working with MoICS and various GoN and private sector bodies for the promotion of e-commerce in Nepal. The project focuses on addressing policy and implementation gaps and developing a strategy for the expansion of digital transaction in trade and business. This is expected to have a significant impact on domestic and international trade by reducing transaction costs, increasing efficiency and transparency, and expanding market access to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) including women entrepreneurs. It will also create conditions for better economic governance and contribute to the development of ICT infrastructure.
